History
Steven Hand owner of Archery Supplies took up archery as a sport in 1981.  In 1984 Steven held numerous Australian FITA records and won Australian championships.  In 1984 his parents estabilished their archery business in South Australia.  Today Archery Park in South Australia is run by his mother Helen Hand  and offers three feild ranges and one target range.  Archery Mart in South Australia is one of Australia's largest retail stores in South Australia is run by his father Brian Hand

Archery Supplies became a registered business in 1992.  It started on a part time basis, in a home garage with a few bows and accessories, to meet the needs of local archers.

Steven was active in the local archery scene and held numerous positions from president, secretary, coach and junior coordinator from 1991-1998.

Around 60 smaller archery shops were buying wholesale from Archery Supplies by 1995 and mailorder and retail sales were growing rapidly. 

In 1999 Archery Supplies opened full time, to meet strong demand.

In 2003 Archery Supplies purchased its current building, to hold increased stock and meet growing demand. 

The Archeryshop.com.au website was launched in 2005 and receives 7,000 visits daily.  It has proved extremely popular with customers who shop online.

In 2006 Archery Supplies was appointed the Australian distributor for Bowtech.  Bowtech is the manufacturer of high quality compound bows and their sales are one of the highest in the industry.

In 2006 Archery Supplies was also appointed the Australian distributor for PSE.  PSE is one of the largest bow companies in the world and produces a large range of bows.  We believe that PSE can be re-established in Australia as a major bow brand and have purchased over 200 compound bows in the first order to allow customers access to the entire range.
