Title : Martin Jaguar TD Recurve 40 lb
Detailed Review : On removing the bow from the package, I inspected the riser and limbs. The riser was pleasing to the eye, camo finish ans no rough edges. The limbs however were a liitle dissapointing. They looked cheap and were rough at the edges. The were no marked as for top and bottom but they were identical on inspection so I began to assemble. the fit was very tight, but did attach and line up ok. After initial setup and replacing the poor rest with a Cavalier micro free flyte. the bow proved very satisfying to shoot. it was easy to hold and take aim being fairly poundage at 40lb. I had set the brace height at 71/2" and checked the brace heigt after around 25 arrows. The string had streched quite a bit, so I added a few turns to take back to 71/2", and all was good again. After around another 50 arrows the string had gone sloppy so more turns were added. I shot the bow for approx 2 weeks until I had a new Dacron string made by the club archery supplier. Now things began to get better. Camo silencers were added to keep bow quiet. The bow is accurate nice to shoot and gives no trouble I would recommend the Martin Jaguar TD Recurve with only this advice. Thow the rest that is supplied awaty with the string supplied. purchas a good rest and string at time of purchase and assuming it all fits together nicely. you will have a very good bow.
