This is my favourite target bow in 2010. I own a PSE Money Maker that I love but the Madness is 10% faster and I like this extra speed for the longer distances. 3RD TIME LUCKY - IS THIS BOW WORTH CONSIDERING AS A FINGER SHOOTING BOW? (B/B ABA)

The Bowmadness XL - is a 36" bow. Used by target shooters and 3D archers. It has been used successfully on a world stage. The issue with finger shooting is finger pinch and angles on the string. Most people recomend long bows for finger shooting. Bows of 40" are prefered. The bow shoots nice with release. The problem with most 40" bows are they are designed for target archery and shoot 300 FPS. For ABA you would generally want a bow with some speed. I would consider the Bowmadness XL for finger shooting at the top of the list, also check out the Vendetta XL and High country Supreme all long bows with decent arrow speeds. I do love the madness XL though.

Hi how does this bow handle re finger shooting(B/B) And is there any probs with wrist slap re 6" b/ht? Ta Lionel

Wrist slap - No. The pre tension on the limbs increases string tension and reduces string movement. However wrist slap will be determined on how you hold the bow. Finger shooting - 36" bow. Should be ok. Finger shooters normally prefer 40" bows.
