The only problem with having the best shooters in the world design the ultimate target bow is that you can never get all of them to agree. That's why we are also offering the revolutionary new MoneyMaker X™ with an NI Cam. The NI Cam is an ultra smooth single cam deisgn that allows for 6 inches of draw length adjustment and the option of 80% or 65% let-off. Other features of the MoneyMaker X™ NI include the B.E.S.T.™ grip, 12 inch Hypersplit™ limbs, 39 1/2 inch axle-to-axle length, 8 1/4 inch brace height and an IBO speed of 302 fps. MADE IN THE U.S.A.
When you own an archery shop I think it is important to shoot every bow so that you know the benefits of each bow. When I first ripped the PSE Money Maker out of the box is was significantly lighter than Hoyt and Mathews, which I like. The draw length is easily adjusted without a bow press by moving the module and draw stop. With Mathews you need to replace the entire cam using a bow press.
While the PSE Money Maker looks like most single cams on the market there is a couple of points which make it superior. First the round wheel at the top. With most single cam bows, the round wheel is tight on the string and the angle of the string causes wear on the string so all manufacturer serve their string around at the top. The PSE single cam is off set and wide which means no string wear and no serving required and the benefit is increased arrow speed about 4-5 fps. If it is not obvious increased string life.
The grip on the PSE Money Maker is also unique, it is narrow to reduce torque and increase accuracy.
When setting up the PSE Money Maker I choose a PSE arrow rest as it locks onto the bow. While any arrow rest can be fitted, the PSE arrow rests are as good as anything else on the market and the price is about the same and maybe a little cheaper than some.
When I first drew the Money Maker it is smooth. I Normally shoot 55# for target but at 60# it was easy. The draw stop is solid as a rock.
I shot the bow untunned at 18 metres and grouped 3 arrows touching in the ten. I repeated this process a couple of times, then handed the bow to another staff member who also shot all arrows in the ten. He was amazed how accurate and easy to shoot the PSE money maker was.
Conclusion:
I purchased a black Money Maker for my 2009 target bow. I can't wait and see the scores I shoot.
